We’ve published today another amazing update with online Tests in iDoceo Connect.

These are the main features and improvements . 

Multiple choice tests are now available!
• Unlimited number of questions
• From 2 up to 7 possible answers. More than one valid answer
• Configure it in no time importing an XLS file with questions and answers
• Add an image to your questions
• Answers may be in text or image
• Assign points per question
• Choose whether to randomize questions and/or answers
• iDoceo Connect will soon have an online library of tests to share”

– iDoceo connect changes
• Recently assigned aliases can be kept for future tasks
• Invalid aliases/submissions can now be erased
• iDoceo Connect rubrics may now include student comments

– System improvements
• Rubric edition shows quick conversion, if any.
• Quick editors may now add or replace icons
• Improved seating plan multiple selection for groups
• Resources may now be sorted by name or date

Gradebook

• Gradebook can now be zoomed in&out
• Change any column and category position with drag&drop
• Easily resize columns from gradebook view
• Fast access to single student filter: long tap on a student’s name > Funnel
• Students age can now be shown in the gradebook view
• Improved copy/paste functions from Excel and between columns in iDoceo
• New ‘Links’ dialog in class’ properties to access Google Classroom and Badge Maker links

Image/Photo annotation

• Annotate your images with the pen tool
  Works on retina iPads and locally stored images
  Check your current setting under main screen > Options (gear icon) > Image&video

Rubrics

• Rubrics can now be zoomed in&out
• Can now edit a particular category from the gradebook view, double tap on a cell when expanded
• New report with all or selected students and a single rubric. May include scores and annotations

Text notes

• May be included in the students report
• Notes can be marked as ‘Favorites’. Will be shown first on list despite its timestamp

Classroom Badge Maker app by iDoceo

• Can now be linked to a class
• Badges shown in student’s personal sheet
• New student report option to include badges
• New formula function: BADGEMAKER to show earned points in gradebook

Standards

• Configurable calculation in widget and multiple columns. Choose between average (default), maximum value or most recent
• ‘Standards and key skills’ can be easily copy/pasted between columns

Seating plan

• Plans can be copied between classes if some students match
• Swap option when two students are selected
• Students can now be pinned, the ‘Randomize lan’ tool keeps their position intact

Resources

• New ‘Recent resources’ option to easily add recent attachments more than once.
• New ‘Audiologic’ option to attach iCloud audio recordings from the app.

Formulas

• Can now access any column&tab from any class/tab even if students do not match exactly
• New function ‘ICONRESULT’, will show any icon upon a condition or along a numeric result
• New function ‘AGE’, Takes into account the student’s birthday and column’s date
• Function ‘DROPAVERAGE’ and ‘MAXAVERAGE’ will automatically color those cells that have been picked
• Function ‘COLORCELL’ will apply a color to a cell
